A really attractive ceramic cup from the Tin Box Company of America. Made in China, this coffee cup features advertising for America's favorite coffee, Maxwell House, which is described as both "slow roasted coffee" and "good to the last drop."
The year of Maxwell House Coffee's founding is evidently 1892. Perhaps this cup was issued in 1992, though I am not sure.
What is particularly classy about this cup are the gold accents, on both the date (1892) and the Maxwell House slogan. There are also three thin stripes outlining the rectangular "sign," and they are blue, white, red, and gold.
The cup is just under 3.5 inches high. Its footprint is 3 inches, and its width, including handle, is 4.5 inches. Weight is 11 ounces, which means the default mode of shipping will be Priority Mail.
